Maybe you've seen the 2012 Kia Soul hamster ads where the rodents dance to LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem"; or, maybe you've just heard about the funky, boxy vehicle that has stolen the hearts of budget buyers and young families alike. Either way, you should know that the new Kia vehicle, which debuted in 2009 increases in popularity every day. With over 85,000 sold in the past two years, the Kia Soul amazes owners with tons of standard features, unique styling, and an extended warranty.
It's no surprise, then, that Deanna Sutorius, Vanessa Branch, and Rachel Cothey all slept, ate and lived in a 2012 Kia Soul for three weeks for the chance of owning it. The contest, which took place at the Halleen Kia dealership in North Olmsted, Ohio, was a tough one. The ladies were only allowed one five-minute bathroom break per hour, as well as a fifteen minute break every six hours. They were also forced to rotate positions in the car every couple of hours. The ladies had tough and fun times; they passed the late-night hours by doing pranks on the Halleen staff, but no one expected all of the ladies to last so long. Co-owner Eric Halleen says, "I figured they'd last a week or maybe a week and half and it would all be over."1 Halleen was so impressed that, instead of only giving away the Kia Soul to one winner, he awarded all three of the ladies prizes. The women picked a number which corresponded with a briefcase, one containing the Kia Soul prize and the other two containing $2500 in cash. Rachel Cothey walked away with the grand prize.
It is very obvious that Halleen Kia values their customers by providing such a generous gift!
