Attention Kia fans! Kia is planning to unveil an all new concept car at this September's Frankfurt Motor Show, in Germany.

To build a little excitement around the event, Kia went ahead and released some photographs online to tease interest. We have to say, it worked. Our interest is definitely piqued.

To sum up exactly how drop-dead gorgeous the new Kia concept is, let us just say, the editors at Top Gear admit to thinking it was a Maserati. No joke! And others mistook it for an Audi.

The new concept really is proof that Kia has what it takes to do "sexy". Plus, it represents the South Korean automaker's very first rear-wheel drive layout, which is, indeed, a very big deal.

As previously mentioned, none of us know very much about the new concept at this time. We won't until the big show. What little we do know relates to exterior aesthetics only. The sleek and classy body screams opulence accompanied by a gradually raked hatch, svelte lines, unique five-spoke wheels and dark rouge-tinted glass.

"No matter from which perspective you look at it - this concept is roaring with energy and ready to take-off," boasts Peter Schreyer, Chief Design Officer, Kia Motors says. "I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: We are ready to fast forward to an all-new chapter."1

Be sure to check the Wagner Kia of Shrewsbury blog again soon to learn more about Kia's provocative new concept.
