Kia, with its sister company in Asia, enjoyed a record-high sales in China for September. Together the two entities sold an impressive total of 127,827 units during the month, which means the companies saw a 9.5 percent increase.
What caused the spike in sales?As one Kia spokesperson stated, "The record monthly sales are mainly due to robust sales of new models."1 These new products included localized versions of vehicles such as the Kia Sportage SUV. By year's end, Kia expects to meet its almost unbelievable sales target of 1.25 million autos!
