While hybrid models have been a part of the Kia lineup for some time, the addition of the Niro is the first time the brand has offered a hybrid-exclusive nameplate. Based off the prototype of the same name from 2013, it blends exciting driving dynamics and superlative gas mileage.
With gas mileage figures estimated at 50 mpg, fuel economy will be the least of your worries. But that's just the tip of the iceberg with the new Niro. Kia designers also have advised us that the car will offer utility, fun-to-drive dynamics. The look of the new car is also a bit of a departure for a dedicated hybrid nameplate. Dare we say, it's pretty electrifying.
