Parents worry tirelessly about how to protect their children from sexual predators, abduction, violence and online safety, but often overlook one of the biggest threats to their toddlers’ safety – their cars.
Let’s be honest, when a baby is on the way, you will have to make a lot of changes. In addition to choosing the perfect color for the nursery room or baby-proofing the home, you will also have to find a replacement for your chic coupe.
For most first-time parents, finding a family car that is affordable, reliable, and performant can be a challenge. There are so many options, sizes, and compositions that it’s easy to get lost in diversity. That is why the team at Wagner KIA of Shrewsbury looked at some of the 2016 lists for best family cars. And, we have some exciting news.
Parent magazine has named Kia Optima midsize sedan and Kia Soul hatchback as two of the ten best family cars of 2016. The list, which is created based on performance, safety, and family-friendly features, will be published in this month’s issue of the Parents magazine. The list is already available online here.
As experienced dealers, we here at Wagner KIA of Shrewsbury can guarantee that the automaker has always made safety a priority. Moreover, the company is renowned for equipping its vehicles with high-tech, user-friendly features. The Optima and Soul, in particular, have several options geared toward families who are looking for cutting-edge driver assistance, innovative technology, plenty of space, and a beautiful design.
As it turns out, it wasn’t very easy for Parents magazine to create their annual list. They had to review hundreds of cars and keep in mind numerous key criteria, such as safety, quality of ride, comfort, kid-friendly features, fuel consumption, reliability, and price.
Kia was the only automaker with not one, but two cars on the list. Dana Points, editor-in-chief at Parents Magazine said that Kia Soul got on the list because it is a great option for young families, with an affordable starting of $15,900. Kia Optima, on the other hand, impressed the magazine with its gorgeous looks, innovative technology, and improved fuel efficiency.
