According to a press release issued earlier today by Kia Motors America, Cars.com recently awarded the 2017 Kia Sportage, the fourth generation of the automakers longest running name plate, with the title of "Best New Compact SUV" of 2017. The annual Best of Awards show is hosted by Cars.com at during the North American International Auto Show, currently underway in Detroit.
Cars.com had high praise for the Sportage, with Editor-in-chief Patrick Olsen praising its distinctive styling, roomy interior, and easy-to-use technology. Every category winner excels in three key criteria; quality, innovation, and value. In order to be nominated for the award, a vehicle must be all-new or fully redesigned for the new model year.
